Living In The Moment

Living In The Moment

Most Self Development Teachers..

Almost every teacher is focused on finding and following one's life purpose. Every self development business is focused on following one's life's purpose. You rarely (if ever) hear spiritual teachers talking about fully living in the present moment. That's HUGE!

It's not so easy to focus on fully living in the present moment. The first step for anyone is to get what they need for survival. Lots of  people get stuck here, but at some point we must move from survival to fully living.

Fully Living In The Present Moment Is Ultimatly More Important Than Following a Life's Purpose...

Being is more important than Doing. You can still have a purpose in life, accomplish things and be successful. In-fact this is your birth right! But the first priority must always be life and life is what's happening now!

There is always a balance between striving for a better future and enjoying things the way they are now. The question is, which is dominant within each of us and are we out of balance?

This is a HUGE part missing from the multi-billion dollar self-development industry. It's good to follow your life's purpose, to accomplish things in life, to make the world a better place. However, you do not need to be constantly busy achieving more and more things in life, even if it is part of your life purpose. There is more to life than your life's purpose. Slow down, look around you, begin to connect with people, be vibrant and joyful, and fully live in the present moment. This is very important!!

As a healthy person you are to integrate both pursuing and contentment into your life. Be the change you want to see in the world. The more you fully live in the present moment, the more you will encourage and build a better future.
